Basics

What is a MYO?

"MYO" stands for Make Your Own. They are Kebanzu, Ren Fair, or Pets that you make yourself, instead of having them designed by an Official Designer.

They will be referred to as "MYO" or "MYOs" through the rest of this guide!

Do I have to design it myself?

You don't! You can pay someone else to design your MYO for you, or a friend could design it. If you're not getting an Official Design, then it counts as a MYO.

Getting Your MYO

Where Can I Get one?

MYO slots are purchaseable through two places:

The first shop uses currency (enchanted stones) that you can earn via art prompts, registering kebs, or via currency you can purchase through the cash shop (enchanted crystals). Alternatively, you can purchase a slot directly in the Cash Shop.

What do I do now?

To turn the MYO item into a MYO Slot there's a few easy steps that you can follow!

Step 1: Navigate to your Inventory and locate your MYO Slot.

Step 2: Select the slot, and then make sure you hit the check mark to select the slot. Make sure that you select the quantity of slots you intend to use.

Don't forget to hit that check mark! If it fails, double check to make sure it's selected.

Step 3: Under the "Use Slot" category click "Open"

If it is successful, you will get the below messages at the top of your inventory, and you will no longer see that slot in your inventory.

MYO slot created successfully.
Item used successfully.

Doing this will make your MYO Slot visible in the "MYO Slot Masterlist" and "My MYO Slots"

If you do not see your MYO Slot in either location, please reach out to a staff member and we will do your best to help!

The Comments section is for adding any information you think the staff should know. This can be any value added to the slot ex: traits purchased with EC or added Rare or Uncommon Traits.

Filling out the Comments section is completely optional.

If you do decide to fill out the Comments Section, please click save when you're done! Click save even if you didn't fill out the comment section, as it is required to submit! Clicking save is the last step of every portion, so you don't lose any progress during the process.

Masterlist Image

This is the Masterlist Image section. Upload the image you want to use for your Masterlist Image.

Be sure to keep "Image Cropper" turned on and zoom out all the way!

    1. Select the Designer from the dropdown menu. If they do not have a Kebanzu Crossroads account, then you can link to their Deviantart page.
    2. Select the Artist from the dropdown menu.
      • Though this is usually going to be the same as the designer, it is possible to have a different artist.
      • For example, you could design your own Kebanzu, then pay another artist to draw them in their style.
        • That would make you the designer, and the artist whomever you paid to draw them.
    3. Click Save!
Uploading Your Image

46111328_QA8sTpr455ZJuFW.png?1650735785

Here's an example upload!

Upload the file of your choice. Center the image in the Image Cropper over the Kebanzu's face and zoom out as far as you can. It's okay if you can't get the whole body!

Important Note: Your file must be 2000x2000px at 300 dpi or smaller.  If you receive a 500 Error it means your file is too big. Make your file smaller and it will be accepted!

Make sure you saved!

Add-ons

46110163_bPjD1IjWUwdG27S.png?1650734037

This is another optional step. If you do not have any traits that you want to add to your MYO you can skip this step.

Be sure to come in and hit save, so the submission knows that you do not need to add anything from your bank or inventory!

However! If you do have items you want to add, here's how you would do that!

    1. Click "Show" next to Your Inventory.

    2. Click the blank box to the left of the Item image to select it.
      • If you have more than one of a single time of item you'd like to use
      • ex: 2x Metallic Markings. Click the drop-down menu for quantity and pick however many you need/want to use.
    3. Once you've added all the items you'd like to use, click Save at the bottom of the screen.
Traits

Traits! The last tab. Here you will get to enter all the traits that your kebanzu has.

46110188_84oUv3rWTsqhYhG.png?1650734051

For each trait, select Add Trait. This will add a line with a dropdown menu for each trait, a box labeled Extra Info (Optional) which you do not need to fill out, and a red x to delete the trait if it is not needed.

Here's a handy list of all the traits you'll need to keep in mind.

During the approval process, the Staff will be going line by line making sure you have them all!

Then when you're done, the red x's will turn into green checkmarks. You'll be able to click Submit Request now, and from there the staff will look through your submission and determine if you need to make changes, or if it can be accepted and added to the Masterlist!
